Requirements
Interest in topics related to sustainable development and environmental protection, enjoyment of project work

How does the competition work?
There are two stages to the award ceremony: Submission of a written project (by March 15) followed by review by the BUW jury. In June, selected teams present their project during the jury meeting. At the award ceremony in September, the best projects are honored.

Requirements
Enthusiasm for and interest in scientific issues and working as part of a team

How does the competition work?
In teams of three, student experts in biology, chemistry and physics work on interdisciplinary scientific questions. The qualification takes place via the Olympiads IJSO, IBO, IChO and IPhO (see below). The international competition takes place in April/May in different countries of the EU.

How does the competition work?
The German national team that will participate in the International Biology Olympiad the following summer in alternating countries is determined over the course of four rounds. 1st round of tasks: April to September | 2nd round of examinations: November | 3rd + 4th round: in presence February and May of the following year, respectively.
